Sleek Blush by Three in Lace

Hey everyone!
Today's review is on a product I got in a box of beauty gifts sent to me by my marvellous friend Sam. I mention her so often on the blog I feel like she is my personal sponsor! Or enabler, you choose. Hello, Sam!
Anyway, in this box of gifts, Sam sent me the Sleek Blush by Three in Lace (£10). I had been looking for this since it came out but it seemed perpetually sold out in my local branch of Superdrug. Sam to the rescue!

How pretty do they look? I almost didn't want to touch the pans. But of course I did, and the swatches are below. From left to right (I think) it goes: Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly.

All three blushes are pigmented. Crochet and Guipure and smoother and less powdery than Chantilly, but all three were not patchy or hard to blend. I applied them pretty heavily below so you can see the colours properly, but they can be applied more softly as well.
Crochet is a yellow leaning coral orange shade, Guipure is a medium pink with a serious gold sheen (not quite shimmer) running through it, and Chantilly, unlike any other blush I own, is like a bright, reddy, neon coral? That's how it appears to me and how I can best describe it.

Crochet
Guipure
Chantilly

Because I have some redness in my cheeks, I'm not sure Chantilly is for me, or it may only be if I use a more high coverage foundation (here I am wearing light BB cream). All three blushes are pretty and easy to apply, so far I have found an average wear time of around 6 hours, with minimal fading.

What do you think? Are these shades for you?

  5. Hello, Seonaid!

I think Crochet's my favourite (it's so pretty!) then Guipure. I like Chantilly as well, though, because it looks the most natural, but I can see how it might be difficult to apply as it is a bit "red-face" red... maybe just less of it?

Also, do the individual blush pans pop out of the palette? x x x

    1. I think because my cheeks have a lot of red in them I have to be careful with redtoned blushes in general. But it's so pretttty. I don't think they do cause they are glued in but you could depot them like people do with MAC shadows!

  11. The middle shade is my favorite. Sleek blushes are the best- particularly 'Pomegranate' and 'Pixie Pink'. Great post!
