Models Own Mirrorball Collection

Hello everyone!
I have to confess something: I'm a Models Own obsessive. My friend Sam and I both, actually, are a little obsessed. We compare swatches via text, message each other with glitter layering suggestions, drool over each new collection. So when for Christmas she sent me what could be considered a truckload of their polishes, I was overjoyed. One lot she sent me was the Mirrorball Collection. And dear me, it's beautiful.
You can buy the polishes individually for £5 on the Models Own website, buy the Mirrorball boxset for £20, or get a few colours you like at 2 for £8 on the Boots site
L-R: Disco Inferno; Hot Stuff; Boogie Nights; Freak Out!; Dancing Queen

Sigh. Look how pretty they are! What lovely bottles! All that shiny, shiny glitter! I could wax lyrical about these polishes for a long time.
So I went and bought myself a nail wheel to swatch these for you, because god knows I don't have the time or inclination to polish, photograph and remove on my own hands for hours, but also because my nails are short and break often and it's about time I started doing more nail posts on here! This way you can see the colour as it's meant to be seen.

First, I swatched Them alone. This is two coats each of Disco Inferno; Hot Stuff; Boogie Nights; Freak Out! and Dancing Queen.
As you can see, Disco Inferno has large rough cut gold glitter, with smaller round green and red glitter throughout and smaller square glitter that reflects blue.
Hot Stuff has more smaller glitter - it's purple and round, as well as large rough pink glitters, and small holos that seem to reflect gold and red.
Boogie Nights has small, round pink glitter, larger square purple glitter and hexagonal purple-pink glitters, as well as some blue hexes and purple strands.
Freak Out! has the most strand glitter (teal), as well as small round pink glitter, blue hexangonal glitter and larger blue rough cut glitter.
Dancing Queen has green and gold holographic glitter, blue rough cut large glitters and small round gold glitter.

Here I swatched them over corresponding colours.
This is, from left to right:
One coat of Disco Inferno over two coats Models Own 25 Carat Gold.
Two coats of Hot Stuff over two coats of Avon Viva Pink.
Two coats of Boogie Nights over one coat of Illamasqua Faux Pas.
Two coats of Freak Out! over two coats of No7 Totally Teal
Two coats of Dancing Queen over two coats of Models Own Grace Green.
And finally, my favourite way, I swatched them over black (I didn't have a black polish handy so I just used the brush end of Models Own WAH Nail Art Pen in Black)
From left to right, one coat each, Disco Inferno; Hot Stuff; Boogie Nights; Freak Out!; Dancing Queen.

These lovely jewel toned polishes are a must buy, in my opinion. Think of all the combinations and overlays you could try. I am currently wearing my nails as in the swatches above, with each finger of the hand painted black with a different topcoat. I keep looking at my nails, short and stubby as they are.

Have you tried any of these polishes? What do you think?
