A rare lipgloss sighting on the blog today! This is part of the set I got for Christmas, and it's the Estée Lauder Pure Color Lipgloss in Plum Divine (£16). I love the packaging of this - it looks like a sturdy, classic thing. The colour in the tube looks a lot more purple than it is (which disappointed me a little) so if the colour was freaking you out, not to worry!
Here it is on the lips - yes, there is a little purple in there, darkening my lips, but there is also a little gold shimmer and high reflection.
Oddly, it's not incredibly heavy or sticky feeling and the shimmer is not gritty at all. For these reasons I think it would work great as a layering polish, perhaps over a darker purple lipstick? Alone it's quite pretty though, and while it doesn't last forever, I found a couple of hours without eating worked fine for me!
Have you tried any Estée Lauder glosses? Any shade recommendations?
