Sorry I've been a little MIA this week; what with Christmas and transferring stores in my job I was a little run off my feet. I hope everyone's been having a great holiday season and that you're all looking forward to New Years! I will probably end up staying in this year, but have fun wherever you are!
Here's what I've been browsing this week:
I love list posts like this one on some beautiful subterranean homes.
This is an amazing post on the conflict between American Airlines and passengers who bought lifetime first class tickets - how they may have abused the system, and how AA used sneaky tactics to try to sue them.
Here's a roundup of some portrait photography tutorials which might be interesting if you like photography or beauty blogging. I need to get me a softbox!
On a more serious note, this Rolling Stone article on the sudden poverty and homeless affecting the middle class of America is moving, inspiring and captures the consistent fear of poverty in an honest way.

I've been in love with Anatomy of Beauty ever since my friend Sam sent me a link - so much so that I read all the way back through the archive! Blanka does some seriously stunning makeup looks, and tutorials to help out if you want to recreate them, as well as reviews and swatches. The photography is brilliant, too.
Hope you enjoy!
