I know I missed the Weekend Supplement last Sunday, but all I was reading online that week was sad and news-based, so I couldn't really think of a way to construct the post. Needless to say, I am back this week - and having recently updated my Flipboard and saved about a million articles from Longform and in my Pocket app, I have a lot of stuff saved up!
I hope you have had a lovely week, and that you enjoy looking at what I've been browsing this week.
Having just caught up on Sons of Anarchy, which is one of my favourite shows of all time, this Fortune article on how the Hells Angels make their money was beyond fascinating. It still feels incredibly relevant despite being written a decade ago.
On the subject of television, this Vanity Fair piece discussing Freaks and Geeks with it's creators and some of it's actors is really worthwhile, for fans of the show and those that just love the Apatow gang.
Stamps are not very sexy, but this Dark Roasted Blend feature on the world's most unusual stamps (including one that turns into a book, and one that contains 'the world's shortest movie') is brilliant.
There is a lovely look at the successful campaigns for marriage equality in this year's US Election season in The Atlantic. It is both touching and important to read, as it addresses how much of a struggle it took to get to this point, and how much work is still ahead.
Collector's Weekly explores the world of Project Neon, which functions as a blog, Etsy shop and an app discovering the great neon signage of New York City, and the history behind it.
You have to love anyone who references The Babysitters Club in a beauty blogpost. Beauty Blogging Junkie imagines the perfume tastes of Claudia Kishi, and thinks about where she would be now.

My blog for this week is The Doppelgänger. I love the clean, picture-focused layout, her outfit posts, graphics and her statement brows. Lauren does some great makeup. You can follow her blog through Bloglovin' or RSS at the bottom of the page (took me ages to find!) It's seriously worth a look if you have even a second.
Have a great week!

P.S. - Today, it is me and my boyfriend's 6 year anniversary, so I just want to be gross and affectionate and say thank you to him for all of his support and also for being really handsome. |

Congratulations on your anniversary :) xo
