Hey everyone!
Today's day 6 of Makeup Savvy's 15 Day Nail Challenge, and the theme is Glitter. I've really been enjoying taking part in this challenge and especially seeing what everyone else comes up with. This challenge was hard to photograph though - the sparkle seemed to make it a bit blurry no matter what:
Illamasqua's Faux Pas (£13.50) is one of my favourite polishes of all time - you can see what it looks like in it's original rubber finish here, but I thought I'd try it out with Models Own Juicy Jules (£5) over the top. I quite like it!
What do you think?
Faux Pas looks so nice with the glitter over the top :) And I agree - photographing glitter is a pain!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a lovely colour anyway :) It totally is - I took a million photos but only one came out useable because I don't have a tripod and have to photograph one-handed with my DSLR :P Oh well!

I tried photographing glitter on iPhone. Didn't come out well at all. And it looked so pretty in real life. Love love the purple though

That purple colour is gorgeous, and i like the original finish, i dont see many matte finishes. :) And that glitter looks so nice! xx

Beautiful combo hun! I've had Illamasqua polish's on my wishlist for AGES! The rubber effect looks interesting! :) Really enjoying looking at everyone's nails in the challenge :)
