I decided to join in with this challenge, to post a new nail look by theme every two days in August, because my nails are in terrible condition and often neglected. They are often ragged with terrible cuticles, and I so often skip adding nail polish altogether because my nails don't do the polishes justice.
Despite this, I want to do this challenge to encourage me to take better care of my nails, and to use my stash of nailpolishes. I can't guarantee that my nails will look the best, or that the designs will be the best, but I'm hoping that you'll enjoy it anyway!
Day 1 is Brights! I used a new polish of mine, the Avon Nailwear Pro + Nail Enamel in Viva Pink (£5)*, which I love! I used three thin coats, but you could get opacity in two slightly thicker coats. It dries very quickly and I've worn it a couple of times to work, and it does not chip, which is awesome. I love how bright and clean the pink colour is. I do feel bad that my nails are not the best advert for this polish :P
I might go to the salon and get my nails cleaned up in the course of this challenge, but until then please don't judge me too harshly!

What a gorgeous colour! My nails are in a terrible state at the moment so I just don't think there would be any point in me taking part - they are so weak that I doubt the colour would stay on long enough for me to take a photo! So instead of joining in this month, I'm going to use August as a month of intensive love for my nails - and by September they WILL be beautiful!!

It is a lovely colour, isn't it? My nails are in a terrible state too - I'm hoping this month will make me pay more attention to them! Mine as super weak too - they always chip or break before they get long enough to look nice. If you find any products that work for you be sure to let me know! I'd love to see your nails at the end of the intensive love treatment!

I absolutely love Avon nail polishes, they're such good quality for money. I love this colour, I really need to get my paws on more bright nail polishes as I'm a very plain Jane when it comes to my nails! x
