Hey guys!
Today, I'm showing you the second palette I got sent from a friend in NYC, Wet n Wild's Color Icon Trio in I Got Good Jeans. You can see me review Walking on Eggshells here. You can buy Wet n Wild trio's in the UK from eBay. In the US you can get them here for $2.99 so it might be worth getting an American friend to send some to you if you live outside the US.
I Got Good Jeans contains a bright, shimmery yellow gold as the 'eyelid' colour, a deep, metallic blackened navy as the 'crease' colour, and a frosty ice-blue grey as the 'browbone' colour. All the shades are soft and pigmented, although as you can see from the swatches there is a little fallout. This is the most unusual trio of the three I got, and I have to say I love the combination. Long time followers will know I love yellows, and I think this works well as a yellow shadow that isn't too harsh. I kind of love the combination of the gold and blue. All three applied well, although I didn't apply them too harshly, so they look slightly less pigmented than they are. Also, they didn't photograph super well, as usual. I need to figure out how to take better eye photos, I swear! Any tips??
I lightly applied the 'eyelid' colour to my lid, and gently buffed in the crease colour to my lid and under the eye. I actually think the browbone and crease colours would work well alone as well, and in that case I might go smokier with the crease colour. It didn't show up to well as a liner in the photos, but in real life it's a beautiful liner colour. The browbone colour I used blended into the inner corner and smudged a little onto the browbone. I'm not sure it works as a brow highlight, but I like the colour in general.
So, what do you think? Should I maybe try a stronger look next time?

All three trios look lovely! I bet you could mix and match between the three! xo
