Hey everyone!
I hope you're having a good weekend and that those of you who've had sun have been loving it (and wearing lots of sunscreen!). I've had a busy, busy week, what with starting my new job and looking for a new place to live (our lease ends in August) but here are some of the things I've been enjoying on the internet this week.
Fan of Aaron Sorkin? I mean, criticisms of his new show aside, I've been a fan of The West Wing since my mum and I used to watch it on box-sets nightly. This was an interesting video about Sorkin's recycling of dialogue, though. Although to be honest it hasn't dampened my enthusiasm for TWW, and if you haven't seen it you should go and watch it immediately.
Last year, the day after my birthday night out, a couple of friends and I spent the whole day on the couch watching Bob Ross reruns on Discovery Shed. It was a revelation; the man was the most heartfelt, genuine guy ever. This video is a kind of affectionate joke about his odd manner of speaking.
This is a pretty cool round up of international media impressions of the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Getting Cheeky is one of my favourite beauty blogs; Jessica has one of the best writing styles around and always does these amazing Inspired by Literature posts, which I love as both a beauty enthusiast and recent English (and History) graduate. She has recently launched a French Pharmacie Spotlight series which looks like it will make informative reading. Check her out!
Have a great week!

I really enjoyed reading this, especially the guardian article - I had already (geekily) read a couple of reviews of the opening ceremony from international news publications as I was interested as to what the reactions would be. Definitely going to check out the French pharmacie series as I am off there soon x

I have checked out Getting Cheeky instantly and I have to agree she's writing so well in her unique style. Especially the literature related makeup posts mixing classics and makeup styles.
