NOTW: Ciate My Fair Lady
As I mentioned in my big haul post , I got this Ciate Paint Pot in My Fair Lady free, with an issue of Marie Claire magazine. I've been loathe to swatch it for you because my nails are in super terrible condition at the moment, but didn't want to put it off any longer.
As far as I can tell, this colour was released especially for Marie Claire so you can't buy it on the website, but I snapped it up since it was almost a third of regular price! I think the Ciate bottles are so cute - they are meant to be designed to fit easily into your hand, which they do, and the long handle for the brush is really helpful. Plus the bow is adorable.
My nails are really awful right now - they keep chipping and getting raggedy at work and I really need a manicure done! I'm awful at filing my own nails - it gives me the heebiejeebies. But here goes:
It took three coats to get it this opaque, but I'm sure that's true of most nudey pinks like this. It applies really nicely though, no tacky bits or lumps. It also dries relatively quickly. I really love the colour of this - a very pale beigey pink. If my nails where nicer or longer I'd wear this as an everyday polish but until then I think, like most nail polish, it serves only to highlight their various imperfections! I'll update once I get my nails sorted.
If you like the colour, they have a lot on offer at the Ciate website, but they are £9 each. From what I've seen of the colours and the application, however, it's probably worth it!
Have you tried any of their other colours out? Thoughts?
