FOTD: Pink and Gold

So, I said I'd try out some stuff from my big haul in an FOTD so here goes the first attempt. The photo above is in direct light, the photo below is lit from the side.

I wanted to go with a neutral-ish golden eye with some brown tones - my underexperienced shot at a MaryKate eye. And then I experimented with a bold, glossy pink lip. It's my thought that bright colours shouldn't be banished to evening looks - mixing it up can be fun. What do you guys think?
